MANZANITA RV TRavel Club
Members are from the Albuquerque metro area and the East Mountains. How do I become a member? By
attending two functions, completing an application and paying the
yearly dues you can become a member of the Manzanita RV Travel Club. The members of the Mazanita are comprised of both working and retired adults. We would encourage those interested in joining to be our guest at a scheduled function ( in-town meeting or a camp out). This would give you an opportunity to learn who we are. How often do we camp? We
plan camp outs for the first full weekend (Fri., Sat., and Sun.) of
March through October. The camp outs for April and September
are scheduled at the State Samborees. The other
four months of the year we have in-town meetings at various
restaurants. Our camp outs are scheduled for Friday through
Sunday, however, our retired members often arrive early or depart
later. The locations of our camp outs are normally limited
to reasonable travel distances, especially for our working members. What do we do at our camp outs and in-town meetings? At
the camp outs we typically enjoy games, tours, fishing, hiking and area
attractions. Friendship
and fellowship among our club members grow as we have meals
together, whether it is a potluck or at a nearby
restaurant. At the in-town meetings on the first Saturday of
those four months, we enjoy a Dutch treat meal at a local
restaurant. We do have a business meeting at both the camp
outs and the in-town meetings. How much does becoming a member cost? The
Manzanita dues are $20 per year per rig. We also
collect a rig fee of $1 per member per camp out to help defray the cost
of a meal provided by the club. Please
come visit us! We look forward to meeting
you. Please feel free to call any of the following officers
